The login allows interested hedge fund managers to apply for consideration to use IBEX, a proprietary trading system (the “Software”). We will also request copies of documents, such as a copy of your current passport or other government issued photo ID and proof that you are a licensed fund manager in your country of residence (“Personal Documents”). These Personal Documents will only be collected if you choose to submit an application to use the Software through the Site and will be used to evaluate if you qualify to use the Software. After submitting an application only qualifying hedge fund managers, which will be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of Parnassus, will be contacted and provided with more information about the Software. However, if you communicate with us by e-mail or telephone, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information. We will also use your Personal Information to send you newsletters via email about the Software, or to contact you when necessary. Parnassus will never sell your Personal Information or Personal Documents to third parties.
2.2. USER CHOICE REGARDING COLLECTION, USE, AND DISTRIBUTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. You may choose not to provide us with any Personal Information or Personal Documents by not creating a login or applying on the Site. In such an event, you can still access and use much of the Site; however you will not be able to apply to utilize the Software.
