1. INTRODUCTION. If you choose to create a login on the Site, we require you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, citizenship, and acknowledgement of certain facts (“Personal Information”). Your Personal Information will only be collected if you create a login through the Site. The login allows interested hedge fund managers to apply for consideration to use IBEX, a proprietary trading system (the “Software”). We will also request copies of documents, such as a copy of your current passport or other government issued photo ID and proof that you are a licensed fund manager in your country of residence (“Personal Documents”). These Personal Documents will only be collected if you choose to submit an application to use the Software through the Site and will be used to evaluate if you qualify to use the Software. After submitting an application only qualifying hedge fund managers, which will be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of Parnassus, will be contacted and provided with more information about the Software. However, if you communicate with us by e-mail or telephone, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information. We will also use your Personal Information to send you newsletters via email about the Software, or to contact you when necessary. Parnassus will never sell your Personal Information or Personal Documents to third parties.

2.2. USER CHOICE REGARDING COLLECTION, USE, AND DISTRIBUTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. You may choose not to provide us with any Personal Information or Personal Documents by not creating a login or applying on the Site. In such an event, you can still access and use much of the Site; however you will not be able to apply to utilize the Software. If you do not wish to receive an email newsletter us regarding the Software, you may “opt out” of these notifications and newsletters by clicking the appropriate link in the email newsletters or contacting us directly at info@parnassusgroupllc.com.

3. STORAGE, CONFIDENTIALITY, AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AND TRAFFIC DATA. We will keep your Personal Information and Personal Documents private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect our rights or property; or (c) enforce our Terms & Conditions. Your Personal Information and Personal Documents are stored on secure servers that are not accessible by third parties, except the company hosting the Site. We provide you with the capability to transmit your Personal Information and Personal Documents via secured and encrypted channels if you use a similarly equipped web browser.
